Weder die Strassen von Berlin noch das Pflaster von Rotterdam brachten unseren beiden Langstreckenläuferinnen Glück und neue Bestzeiten.
Joëlle Flück musste schon nach wenigen Kilometern des Berliner Halbmarathon feststellen, das heute nicht ihr Tag ist! Obwohl sie bis am Schluss kämpfte, blieb sie deutlich hinter der vor 4 Wochen gelaufenen Zeit von Paris.
Arlette Meier-Hunger ging zum ersten Mal in ihrer doch schon längerer Karriere an den Start eines Frühjahrmarathons. Auf dem schnellen Kurs von Rotterdam lief Arlette bis zur Halbmarathonmarke noch auf PB-Kurs, doch danach rächte sich das hohe Anfangstempo. So wurde die zweite Streckenhälfte unglaublich lang. Zum Glück blieben die Uhren noch vor der Drei-Stundenmarke stehen…
