Michèle gehört zu den schnellsten 800m-Läuferinnen des Landes und kam so zu einem Startplatz im B-Lauf des zweitgrössten Leichtathletik Meetings der Schweiz.
Bereits um 18:00 Uhr galt es für die Regensdorferin ernst. Eine Tempomacherin sorgte für einen schnellen Start. Michèle lief die ersten 200 Meter in exakt 31 Sekunden und war gut im Feld positioniert.
Auch nach 400 Meter in knapp 64 Sekunden war sie gut auf PB-Kurs. Auf der 2. Runde wollten aber die Beine nicht so wie Michèle. Die letzten 100 Meter gehörten nicht zu ihren schnellsten und so reichte es am Schluss nur für den 8. Rang in 2:14.08 Minuten. Immer noch eine gute Zeit, aber nicht das, was sie sich für heute vorgenommen hat.

Im 1500 Meter Lauf der weiblichen U18 standen gleich zwei Läuferinnen vom LCR am Start. Da sowohl Melanie als auch Sina viele Punkte im Crosscup des vergangenen Winters gesammelt hatten, konnten sie beide bei der Athlètissima dabei sein. Für Melanie war es bereits der zweite Start in Lausanne, für Sina der Erste. Und zudem war es für Sina auch der erste 1500er überhaupt.
Beide Läuferinnen zeigten ein gutes Rennen und konnten zu Beginn des Rennens mit den Schnellsten mithalten. Nach 800 Meter wurde das Rennen aber kontinuierlich schneller und Melanie zeigte, dass sie auf dieser Distanz zu Hause ist. Routiniert versuchte sie den Abstand zur Spitzengruppe nicht zu gross werden zu lassen und legte eine gute Schlussrunde hin.
Mit einer Zeit von 5:05.97 Minuten und dem 9. Rang darf sie auf jeden Fall zufrieden sein. Im letzten Jahr noch lief es ihr nicht wunschgemäss. Heute hat sie mit dem Stade de la Pontaise Frieden geschlossen.

Sina musste in ihrem ersten 1500er auf die harte Tour lernen, wie weit 3 3/4 Runden sein können. Auf der Schlussrunde wurden die Beine immer schwerer und auch das Atmen wurde streng. Die Zeit von 5:15.11 Minuten gehen für ein Debüt absolut in Ordnung. Nach dem Rennen meinte Sina, dass ein 1500er „schon etwas lang“ sei. Darauf Melanie: „Du musst halt mal einen 3000er machen, dann sind 1500m nicht mehr so weit.“

Auf jeden Fall war die Athlètissima für Alle ein ganz spezieller Wettkampf, welcher ein Läuferleben lang in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
