Dieses Jahr fanden zum ersten Mal die Europäischen Studentenmeisterschaften im Orientierungslauf statt und gleich vier LCR-Mitglieder nahmen teil. Am Donnerstag starteten die Meisterschaften mit dem Sprintwettkampf in urbanem Gelände. Bei den Damen wusste Laura Ramstein zu überzeugen. Sie gewann die Bronzemedaille. Im Herrenrennen holte sich Florian Attinger die Silbermedaille. Jannis Schönleber komplettierte das Podest und ergatterte sich die Bronzemedaille. Joel Morgenthaler schrammte knapp an den Top 10 vorbei und wurde 11.
Podium Sprint
Am Freitag war es Zeit in den Wald zu gehen. Die Mitteldistanz stand auf dem Programm. Wieder liefen zwei LCR-Mitglieder auf das Podest. Florian erreichte den 3. Platz und Jannis Schönleber den 2. Platz. In dem doch diffusen Gelände erwischte Laura Ramstein nicht ihren besten Tag und lief auf den 8. Rang.

Als letzter Wettkampf stand am Samstag die Sprintstaffel auf dem Programm. Diese fand in der Studentenstadt Olomouc statt. Laura Ramstein und ihr Freund Philipp von Arx landeten auf dem zweiten Platz in der Mixed-Kategorie. Laura holte sich so ihre zweite Medaille. In der Herrenstaffel holte sich Joel Morgenthaler mit einem Mitstudenten die Bronzemedaille und Jannis Schönleber gewann das Rennen und die Goldmedaille. Er komplettierte damit seinen Medaillensatz. Florian Attinger war mit seinem Kollegen sehr gut unterwegs, liess dann jedoch leider einen Posten aus.
