Die von Samuel Jost redigierte LCR-Bestenliste Top 10, welche auf der Homepage (Resultate/Bestenliste) aufgeschaltet wurde, ist so interessant wie noch nie.
Die Schweizer Leichtathletik und insbesondere der LC Regensdorf machten aus der, wegen den Covid-19-Restriktionen stark verkürzten Wettkampfsaison, das Bestmögliche, um sich trotz dieser Situation verbessern zu können.
Die Bestenliste erfuhr in diesem Jahr unzählige neue Einträge. Dies beweist, dass unsere Trainer und Trainerinnen die AthletInnen, trotz aller Einschränkungen optimal motivieren konnten. Auch während der Zeit, als in der Schweiz praktisch nichts mehr möglich war, trainierten die AthletInnen alleine oder in Klein- und Kleinstgruppen äusserst professionell.
Nachfolgend eine Aufstellung der bemerkenswertesten Resultate:
Neue LCR-Vereinsrekorde 2020:
In diesem Jahr haben sieben LäuferInnen sowie das Frauen-Américaine-Staffel-Team neue Vereinsrekorde aufgestellt.
Jonas Raess verbesserte seine eigenen Rekorde über 1500m, 3000m und 5000m deutlich und ist auch über alle Distanzen der schnellste Schweizer. Jonas gelang es, sich von der europäischen Spitze, langsam aber sicher, in der erweiterten Weltklasse zu etablieren.
Der seit diesem Jahr für den LCR startende Andrea Salvisberg bewies mit den beiden Rekorden über 10‘000m und im Halbmarathon, dass er nicht nur ein guter Triathlet, sondern auch ein ausgezeichneter Läufer ist. Insbesondere seine Halbmarathonzeit, welche fast eine Minute schneller als die EM-Limite ist, lässt aufhorchen.
Selina Fehler verbesserte über 800m den 27jährigen Vereinsrekord unserer ehemaligen Olympionikin Kathrin Lüthi. Mit dieser Zeit klassiert sie sich in der Schweizer Bestenliste auf dem ausgezeichneten 3. Rang. Hoffentlich öffnet diese Bestzeit auch einige Türen zu schnellen Rennen bei grossen Meetings.
Fast zehn Jahre nach ihren schnellsten Zeiten über 800m und 1500m, gelang der einstigen Mittelstreckenläuferin Joëlle Flück eine Verbesserung des Rekordes über 10km auf der Strasse.
An den Staffelmeisterschaften verbesserten Michelle Gröbli, Selina Fehler und Karin Disch in der Amèricaine-Staffel den eigenen Schweizerrekord vom Vorjahr gleich um rund 12 Sekunden.
Neue persönliche Einträge in der Bestenliste 2020:
Insgesamt konnten in diesem Jahr 35 neue Einträge verbucht werden. Die Frauen zeigten mit 21 neuen Einträgen, gegenüber den Männern mit 14, dass sie nicht nur zahlenmässig im Training stärker vertreten sind, sondern belegt auch, dass das LCR-Runningteam der Frauen das stärkste Team der Schweiz ist.
In den Staffel-Bestenlisten sind insgesamt 6 neue Einträge registriert worden. Das Highlight war sicher der neue Schweizerrekord der Frauen. Ebenfalls sehr erfreulich ist die Tatsache, dass in den Staffeln auch ganz junge LäuferInnen eingesetzt werden konnten.
Auch der Nachwuchs ist bereits erfolgreich in der Bestenliste vertreten:
Neben vielen NachwuchsathletInnen der Kategorie U20, sind erfreulicherweise auch bereits 6 Jugendliche in der Bestenliste zu finden.
In der Kategorie U18 konnte sich bei den Jungs Noé Mingot insgesamt viermal und Fabio Wolf zweimal eintragen lassen.
Bei den Mädchen schafften Deborah Steinlin (2x), Sophia Utzinger und Aline Laube den Sprung in die Bestenliste. Mit fünf neuen Einträgen ist Trinity Eberhard als jüngste Athletin (U16) am erfolgreichsten vertreten.
