Bei strahlend schönem Wetter wurden die jungen Athleten am 25. September 2021 beim diesjährigen Mille Gruyère Final für 10- bis 15-Jährige in Appenzell empfangen.
Mit Max Wollscheid und Dario Erny (M12), Jannis Greile (M13) und Petter Oster (M14) waren für den LCR vier starke Läufer am Start. Sie alle bewiesen mit beeindruckenden Leistungen, dass sie auch am Ende der Saison noch genug Power für neue persönliche Bestzeiten und top Platzierungen hatten.
Petter Oster spurtete in der Alterskategorie M14 auf den guten vierten Rang mit einer PB von 2:41,67, auch Jannis Greile lief in der Alterskategorie M13 mit 2:54,00 auf den tollen 3. Rang und schaffte es somit auf das Podest. Auch die beiden Jüngsten im LCR Team erreichten neue PB‘s in der Alterskategorie M12. Dario Erny lief mit einer PB 3:01,97 auf den 5. Rang und Max Wollscheid ebenfalls mit einer PB 3.11,11 auf den 11. Rang.
Ein weiteres Highlight war, dass die vier Jungs von „unserem“ Jonas Raess angefeuert wurden. Jonas sowie Lore Hoffmann von ATHLE.ch, welche diesen Sommer über 5000m bzw. über 800m die Schweiz an den Olympischen Spielen in Tokio vertreten hatten, standen allen Kids den ganzen Tag geduldig für Autogramme und Erinnerungsfotos zur Verfügung, ebenfalls überreichten sie bei der Rangverkündigung die Medaillen und Urkunden.
Somit konnten die vier LCR’ler nach einem spannenden und sehr erfolgreichen Anlass, sehr zufrieden und glücklich nach Hause fahren.
