Nach den Schweizer Hallenmeisterschaften der Aktiven am vergangenen Wochenende folgten Schlag auf Schlag die Nachwuchsmeisterschaften, die am 24. & 25. Februar 2024 in Magglingen stattfanden. Mit dabei war die LCR Athletin, Trinity Eberhard, welche sich erfolgreich über die 400m Distanz bei den U20 qualifiziert hatte.

Am Samstag fand der Vorlauf über die 400 Meter statt, bei dem Trinity Eberhard ein solides Rennen zeigte. Die ersten 160 Meter lief Eberhard in einem guten Tempo an, doch leider wurde sie beim Einreihen von einer Konkurrentin abgedrängt, was ihren Laufrhythmus beeinträchtigte. Sie kämpfte sich nach und nach wieder ins Rennen zurück und konnte so auf den letzten Metern den Vorlauf für sich entscheiden. Mit einer Zeit von 58.51s qualifizierte sich die Nachwuchsläuferin für den B-Final am Sonntag. 

Am Sonntag gab Trinity nochmals alles und lief die ersten 200 Meter etwas schneller an als am Vortag. Trinity sicherte sich trotz erneuten Positionskämpfen eine gute Ausgangslage. Obwohl sie auf den letzten Metern ihre bereits müden Beine spürte, lief sie in 58.58s fast gleich schnell wie im Vorlauf! Mit dieser Leistung lief das junge Lauftalent im B-Final als Dritte über die Ziellinie und erreichte insgesamt den 7. Schlussrang. Herzliche Gratulation zu dieser starken Leistung!

Nun heisst es, sich etwas zu erholen, bevor schon bald die Vorbereitungen für die Sommersaison 2024 in Angriff genommen werden! 

Geplant war auch der Start von Petter Oster über die 1000 Meter Distanz. Leider musste er krankheitsbedingt auf den Start verzichten.
