Erfolgreicher Start für den LC Regensdorf in die UBS Kids Cup-Saison 2019

Am Sonntag den 7. April fand der UBS Kids Cup in Schöfflisdorf auf dem Gelände des Schulhauses Rietli statt. Insgesamt nahmen 20 Athletinnen und Athleten des LCR an dem Wettkampf teil, davon allein 12 von der U10-Trainingsgruppe.

Für die Jahrgänge 2012 (W/M07) und 2011 (W/M08) begann der Wettbewerb um 13.00. Ab 14.30 starteten dann auch die anderen Jahrgänge von 2010 (W/M09) bis 2006 (W/M13).

U10-Trainingsgruppe stellt 4 Sieger

Nach den Erfahrungen bei den UBS Kids Cup Team-Wettbewerben in der Halle war für einige der U10-Athletinnen und Athleten der UBS Kids Cup auch ihr erster Einzel-Wettkampf bei dem sie die 3 Disziplinen60m, Weitsprung und Ballwurf zu absolvieren hatten.

In einem Teilnehmerfeld von 21 Jungen holte sich Fabrice Siegrist bei der Kategorie M07 den Sieg. In allen 3 Disziplinen lag er vor den anderen Athleten. Moritz Schmied belegte bei seinem ersten Outdoor-Wettkampf den sehr guten 10. Rang. Ihr Team-Kollege Eric Sinoimeri startete in der Kategorie M08 und belegte bei seinem ersten Wettkampf Rang 12.

Die Kategorie M09 gewann Alejandro Wilhelm mit einem sensationellen Gesamtscore von 1008 Punkten vor seinem Teamkollegen José Mario Rojano Cruz. Feris Khachane belegte bei seinem ersten Wettkampf Rang 7.

Bei den Mädchen lief es genauso gut. In der Kategorie W08 gewann Livia Hilti vor Zoe Wollscheid und bei der Kategorie W09 sicherte sich Lina Rindle den Sieg. Mit Lily Thöni (Rang 3) schaffte es eine zweite LCR-Athletin auf das Podest. Jula Schwedhelm wurde Vierte und Marleen Qerimi belegte Rang 9.

Bei den U12-Athletinnen und Athleten schaffte es Fiona Fuchser in der Kategorie W11 auf das Podest und wurde Zweite. Alina Hilti belegte Rang 5. In der Kategorie M10 verpasste Max Wollscheid das Podest nur knapp und wurde Vierter, Kevin Dell’Agosti belegte Rang 8. Manuel Rojano Cruz wurde in der Kategorie M11 ebenfalls Vierter.

U14-Athletinnen und Athleten erfolgreich

Summer Eberhard konnte sich über Platz 2 in ihrer Kategorie W12 freuen und in der Kategorien M12 holte sich Jonas Hofstetter den Sieg, genauso wie Lili Da Mutten in der Kategorie W13.

Im Anschluss an den UBS Kids Cup fand noch der Wettbewerb «Dä schnellscht Wehntaler» statt. Dafür qualifizierten sich die jeweils 3 Schnellsten aus den 60m-Läufen. Bedingung war jedoch, dass die Athletinnen und Athleten auch im Wehntal ansässig sind. Hier konnte sich Livia Hilti über einen Sieg in der Kategorie W08 freuen, genau wie Fiona Fuchser in der Kategorie W11 und Jonas Hofstetter in der Kategorie M12. Summer Eberhard in ihrer Kategorie W12 Zweite!
