Bonus Track Meeting Nottwil 29.06.2019
Während der LC Regensdorf auf der heimischen Sportanlage zwei verschiedene Nachwuchs-Wettkämpfe organisierte, starteten insgesamt 16 LCR-AthletenInnen bei brütener Hitze am Bonus Track Meeting von Nottwil.
Bereits kurz nach dem Mittag eröffnete Sarah Bickel den Wettkampfnachmittag über 100m. Mit 13.02“ blieb sie zum ersten Mal und fast zwei Zehntelsekunden unter der SM-Limite ihrer Kategorie. Kurz darauf, in der grossen Mittagshitze folgte bereits der Paukenschlag: Karin Disch gewann die 1. Serie über 400m Hürden und verbesserte ihre persönliche Bestzeit um eine Sekunde, auf sensationelle 59.10“. Damit erfüllte sie am zweitletzten Tag der Qualifikationsperiode die Limite für die U23 Europameisterschaften in Gävle SWE. So gross die Freude darüber auch war, im Wissen darum, dass in diesem Sommer bereits 3 weitere Schweizerinnen schneller liefen, war ihr Glück noch nicht ganz perfekt!
In der zweiten Serie realisierte Leana Wanner eine deutliche Saisonbestzeit. Die Reserven im technischen Bereich lassen auf eine weitere Steigerung bei den nächsten Rennen hoffen.
Über 400m kam Michelle Gröbli als 6. der ersten Serie nicht ganz an ihre SB heran. Sara Polinelli verpasste ihre PB um „lumpige“ 4/100“ und Aline Laube verlor auf den letzten 100m noch einige Meter gegenüber Sara. Offenbar genoss Alessio Büchi die grosse Hitze, dank welcher er mit 52.28“ eine neue PB realisierte. Pech hatte Samuel Jost, bei dem sich eine alte Verletzung aus dem Trainingslager wieder bemerkbar machte und ihn bereits kurz nach dem Start zur Aufgabe zwang.
Sichtlich nervös und von der Hitze gestresst ging Ravenna Gassmann an den Start über 800m. Auf der ungewohnt kurzen Distanz lief sie von Beginn an aktiv an der Spitze mit und konnte ihre PB aus dem Jahr 2015 sehr deutlich auf 2:15.57 verbessern. Die Mehrkämpferin Sarah Bickel testete sich nach den 100m zum ersten Mal auch noch über die abschliessende Disziplin des 7-Kampfes. Nur knapp verpasste der erst 17-jährige Johannes Kupferschmid über 800m bei den Männern seine PB.
Ueber 1500m starteten gleich drei Frauen und zwei Männer vom LC Regensdorf. Michèle Wieland konnte bis 1100m gut an und mit der Spitze mitlaufen, ehe sie das Rennen leider aufgeben musste. Lavignia Lovato und Annika Vetterli mussten in der zweiten Serie antreten, in der das Tempo für eine PB für Lavignia zu langsam war und Annika nicht ganz mit der Spitze mithalten konnte. Eine unglaubliche Verbesserung der PB um mehr als 5 Sekunden gelang Timo Suter. Bei einem noch nicht optimalen Rennverlauf blieb er zum ersten Mal unter der magischen 4-Minuten-Grenze und knackte mit 3:56.95‘ auch den vereinsinternen Rekord für Orientierungsläufer 😉. Um genau eine Sekunde verpasste Dominik Reich seine PB, darf nach einer langen, militärbedingten Trainingsreduktion aber sicher sehr zufrieden sein.
Die vielen Leute, welche ununterbrochen zur Seebadi am Sempachersee am Wettkampfplatz vorbei „pilgerten“, inspirierten die LäuferInnen nach absolviertem Wettkampf ebenfalls zu einem Sprung ins kühle Nass. Eine grosse Freude war auch, dass mit Lea Laib und Alexandra Bosshard zwei von unseren momentan noch verletzten Spitzenläuferinnen unsere Athleten vor Ort unterstützten.
Resisprint La Chaux-de-Fonds 30.06.2019
Der Sonnenbrand vom Vortag war noch nicht auf allen Schultern abgeklungen, als sich eine deutlich kleinere LCR-Delegation bereits wieder auf den Weg ans internationale Meeting in La Chaux-de-Fonds machte. Karin Disch wollte unbedingt noch die Chance nutzen, um sich doch noch für die U23 Europameisterschaften zu qualifizieren. Mit Yasmin Giger (56.63.“), Oksana Aeschbacher (59.05“), Michelle Müller (59.05“) und Karin (59.10“) haben bereits vier Athletinnen die Limite geschafft, an der EM dürfen aber nur 3 Läuferi
nnen eingesetzt werden.
So blies Karin knapp 24 Stunden nach ihrem Einsatz in Nottwil in der Höhenluft des Jura zum Totalangriff. Bei leichtem Gegenwind auf der Gegengerade kam es zum grossen Duell zwischen Oksana, Michelle und Karin, welche alle auf die Bahnen 3-5 eingeteilt wurden. Bereits bei der 200m-Marke liefen die hinter Karin gestarteten Läuferinnen zu ihr auf. Doch das sich Karin mit unzähligen langen und nicht so sehr geliebten Intervallen im Winter eine gute Basis für eine schnelle zweite Hälfte erarbeitet hat, zahlte sich zum Glück aus. Mit langen Schritten stürmte sie an ihren Konkurrentinnen vorbei und blieb mit 59.13“ ein zweites Mal unter der Limite von 59.20“. Im Direktduell blieb sie zwar deutlich hinter Oksana, zum Glück aber auch souverän vor Michelle.
So wird es also sehr spannend, wie sich die Selektionskommission von SwissAthletics entscheiden wird. Was wird stärker gewichtet? Zählt nur die schnellste Zeit, der Formstand oder auch das Direktduell?
