Wir eröffneten die Bahnsaison mit dem Auffahrtsmeeting in Langenthal.
Michèle, Selina, Lavignia, Leana, Fiona, Sina und Aline liefen einen 600er.
Besonders erfolgreich war Selina’s erster 600er in einer Zeit von 1:33.91.
Aline lief sehr mutig die ganze erste Runde an der Spitze und wurde erst auf den letzten 200m überholt.
Michelle startete über 300m, welche ihr aber wegen eines defekten Startlautsprechers nicht wie erwünscht gelangen.
Melanie vertrat den LCR über die 1000m und erreichte eine Zeit von 3:13.16

Opening a track season with different middle-distance races always gives an interesting look at where athletes stand after winter training. The 600m results here show how much race strategy can matter, not just raw speed. Running the first lap at the front takes plenty of courage, even if the pace becomes harder near the finish. The issue with the start speaker is unfortunate too, since small technical problems can really affect a race. It would be interesting to see how these runners progress over the rest of the season.
It’s great to see the athletes opening the track season with such strong efforts in Langenthal. Selina’s 1:33.91 over 600m and Aline’s brave front-running stood out, while Melanie’s 3:13.16 over 1000m was another impressive result.
