Der vierte Wisacher-Cross vom Sonntag, 11.November hatte alles in sich, um ein super Event zu werden. Zwar regnete es am frühen Morgen noch ausgiebig, und alle unsere Helfer wurden ordentlich durchnässt, doch die Prognose sollte recht behalten, ab 9:00 Uhr trocknete es ab und rechtzeitig auf den Start unserer jüngsten Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer zeigte sich die Sonne am Novemberhimmel. Die milden Temperaturen waren kein Vergleich zu den stürmischen Verhältnissen im Vorjahr. So konnten unsere Helfer die letzten Vorbereitungen bei schon fast frühlingshaften Temperaturen erledigen bevor der 4. Crosslauf auf dem Wisacher stattfinden sollte.
Zum ersten Mal wurden die Rennen der Hauptklassen bei den Frauen und Männern gefilmt und mittels Live-Stream übertragen. Diesen Service möglich machte die Firma livemotion unter der Leitung von Raffael Huber, Mitglied im LCR.
Mit den U8 stürmten dann unsere Jüngsten über die rund 600m lange Strecke, die diesmal auch mehrheitlich trocken absolviert werden konnte. Unsere beiden jungen Athleten Fabrice Siegrist und Lukas van Binsbergen hielten von Anfang an in der Spitzengruppe mit und konnten den Lauf mit dem tollen 4. und 7. Rang beenden.
Nur kurze Zeit später standen die Läuferinnen und Läufer der Altersklasse U10 am Start. Dieses Mal ging es auf die 1080m lange Runde. Gion Andri Meier führte das Feld schon frühzeitig an und konnte seine Spitzenposition bis ins Ziel halten, dies mit einer beeindruckenden Zeit von 4:07.97. Auch seine Teamkameraden José Maria Rojano und Joel Siegrist absolvierten einen tollen Lauf.
Auch die Mädchen U10 liessen sich nicht lumpen und liefen ausgezeichnete Rennen. Maude Schildknecht startete mutig und konnte sich mit einer Zeit von 4:35.58 den Sieg holen! Nur kurz danach folgten Lina Rindle, Jill Fries und Malea Kadau. Auch Leonie Heiderich stellte ihren Kämpferwillen unter Beweis und schloss die Runde mit einem engagierten Schlusssprint ab.
Um 12:25 standen dann die Läuferinnen und Läufer der Kategorie U12 am Start. Sie hatten die doppelte Distanz zurückzulegen. Flurin Meier übernahm bereits nach einigen Metern die Führung, dicht gefolgt von seinem Teamkollegen Noah Staubli. Flurin konnte seine Position bis zum Schluss verteidigen und das Rennen für sich entscheiden, dicht gefolgt von Noah Staubli, der als Zweiter durchs Ziel kam. Kurz später überquerten auch Manuel Rojano, Simon van Binsbergen, Levin Beyeler, Maic Morel, Fynn Jakobs, Kanoa Kadau und Jonas Hofstetter die Ziellinie. Sie alle absolvierten den Lauf in einer sehr guten Schlusszeit. Da liegt noch viel Potential drin!
In der Kategorie U12W lief Summer Eberhard ein tolles Rennen und erreichte den 4. Rang. Nur knapp dahinter liefen Jill Hartmann, Lennja Müller, Anita Breus und Anina Hartmann ins Ziel, die alle eine sehr erfreuliche Leistung zeigten.
Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer der Kategorie U14 hatten bereits 3080m zurückzulegen. Matteo Gattuso sowie auch Trinity Eberhard konnten zu Beginn mit der Spitzengruppe mithalten. Matteo gelang es, bis kurz vor dem Ziel mitzulaufen, musste aber auf den letzten Metern die drei Spitzenläufer ziehen lassen. Er konnte das Rennen mit dem ausgezeichneten 4. Rang abschliessen. Nach einer Zwangspause wegen dem Pfeifferschen Drüsenfieber zeigt die Formkurve von Matteo wieder aufwärts. Auch Javan Kummli und Noé Meier liefen ein sehr gutes Rennen.
Trinity Eberhard hielt sehr lange mit der Spitzengruppe der Jungen mit und musste sich erst in der letzten Runde etwas zurücknehmen. Alleine auf sich gestellt rannte sie – routiniert wie immer – als erste Athletin mit einer sehr schnellen Zeit von 12:19.52 ins Ziel. Auch Riccarda Fritschi, Lili da Mutten und Leoni Friedel dürfen auf ihre Leistungen stolz sein.
In der Kategorie U16 galt es 4080m zu absolvieren. Jael Kupferschmid, Aloysia Morel und Patricia Heeb liefen ein souveränes Rennen und durften sich über den ersten, den zweiten und den dritten Platz der kantonalen Wertung freuen. Jael wurde zum ersten Mal (aber vielleicht nicht zum letzten Mal?) Kantonalmeisterin. Ben Kuster vertrat den LCR in den männlichen U16 und teilte sein Rennen über die vier Runden sehr gut ein.
Als nächstes standen Lars Fritschi und Johannes Kupferschmid in der Kategorie U18 am Start. Beide Athleten hatten sechs Runden zu laufen. Johannes konnte lange Zeit mit den anderen Athleten mitlaufen und wurde mit dem dritten Platz der Kantonalwertung belohnt. Lars wurde durch starke Bauchschmerzen so stark ausgebremst, dass eine Aufgabe des Rennens die einzig richtige Lösung war.
In der Kategorie U20W stand Lavignia Lovato am Start. Sie lief wie gewohnt souverän und konnte schön in der Gruppe mitlaufen. Über die vier Runden bewies sie allen wieder einmal, dass sie eine Kämpferin ist. Sie erreichte das Ziel mit einer fantastischen Zeit von 16:21.11.
Für die Kategorie U23W stand aus dem LC Regensdorf Ramona Rieder am Start. Sie legte eine Strecke von 6080 m zurück.
Nicola Hagger startete in der Kategorie U20M über 6080m. Er startete gut ins Rennen und lief seine sechs Runden in einem schön regelmässigen Tempo mit einer ausgezeichneten Endzeit von 19:44.80, mit der er den 4.Platz erreichte.
Jannis Schönleber und Thomas Curiger absolvierten in der Kategorie U23M 8080m. Beide starteten gekonnt ins Rennen, bedacht dass es ganze acht Runden zu rennen galt. Sie fanden beide Anschluss in der führenden Gruppe und konnten über die Runden stets mithalten. Sie bewiesen beide, dass sich das Trainieren mehr als nur gelohnt hatte – Jannis konnte sich dem Ende zuneigend vorne absetzen und brachte mit einer unglaublichen Zeit von 26:17.60 den Sieg nach Hause. Auch Thomas machte noch einige Ränge wett. Sein gelungener Lauf in 26:42.27 wurde mit der Drittplatzierung bestätigt. Beide können überaus zufrieden mit sich sein.
Danach war es ziemlich bald auch schon zu Ende mit dem 4.Wisacher-Cross. Herzlichen Dank an alle, die dazu beigetragen haben, dass es so ein toller und erfolgreicher Tag war.
